Re: tents

I've had a tentipi for years and I absolutely love it, one of the best pieces of kit I ever got. Expensive but it'll last forever and is bombproof.

Re: satnav is dead

I just use my phone in an aquabox, bluetooth directions to a Cardo headset if I want it. I'm currently running Sygic Navigator for road trips, and Viewranger for scoping out trails and interesting places, recording tracks etc. I've also got Backcountry Navigator and OruxMaps installed but haven't ha...

I checked again this morning but still nothing so I just logged on here to post but have been beaten to it. I couldn't see anything for ...

Re: 1044mls in 24hrs

I'd say a lot of it has to do with bike fitness, e.g. I rode just 160 miles yesterday but they were twisty slow roads in Connemara which took 4 hours and I was all aches after, but I know that if I were to do it again tomorrow I wouldn't feel it so much. I did the first Iron Butt event in Ireland an...

Re: Honda XRV Africa Twin - Should I ?

I've had mine six years and still love it to bits, but I don't do any two-up or high-speed motorways. It might not have much power but I find it an absolute blast compared to the Fireblades, Blackbirds, Gxrs, I used to ride which I found utterly boring at anything under 130mph. Bouncing and sliding ...
