I have done just over 6000 miles in 14 days on standard tanks. Europe and North Africa on a VFR800. Was fine.

Just back from Applecross. Went via Glasgow, Glencoe, Fort William.
Extreme winds around Glasgow on motorway. Blown across lanes a few times.
Glencoe alright. Bit windy but nothing serious. No snow.
Bit of snow on the pass of the cattle. None on the actual road though.
