Well, Mason's bike blew all its engine oil out, but the situation is supposedly recoverable.

The factory team seem to be very honest about the what and why...

Two friends have now got their Koves run in and really like them. They are both experienced riders with enduro and euro rally experience so know their stuff. Neither thinks power is lacking (if you ride them right.) although a larger rear sprocket helps.

IMO bodes well for the future.

Mine has over 3k miles on it now,
I'm more convinced it's built well,
I've done all the oil changes and it's better (cleaner)than anything I've had before,
Time to make it mine,

Afr probe welded in place so I can read in real time what the fuelling is doing,

Just waiting on some parts to alter cat removal and straight through exhaust (with db reducer),+4 degrees flywheel adjustment race ECU,many things to try in the coming weeks,

Looked at one about a month ago, in dealer in Malton. I'm 5'8'' and would have needed steps to get my leg over.
But was a really nice bike, but to be honest its that China issue that I couldn't get out of my head.

I have a factory low model, I sat on the standard hight bike[im 5'11] and decided to wait for the bike I'd ordered [one of only 3 factory low bikes ever imported] ,

If its the place of manufacture that's your problem its a shame,

Mine has 4k miles on now,

I'm reluctant to big this bike up for fear of a fall [the same reasons as you i guess]

But,

6K miles in,
Time for a valve clearance check,
Both exhausts are a bit out but not bad,
It's difficult to tell the difference between the old and new buckets at the wear point (dlc coating),

Mine arrived just before Christmas.

With work/weather/family duties etc. only managed to get 300 miles on it. Enough for its first run-in service.

So far, I'm really pleased with it.

There are a few quirks like the fuel gauge only seems to read from one tank. I've filled the two front tanks with only a total of around 7 litres and combined they are around 15 litres. I just need to get used to that. I've not filled the rear tank yet. I've fitted hand guards, heated grips and a rack so far, with a few more bits from 'Uncle Wang' on their way.

You can tell it is not an enduro, bike and not a trail bike. It is a proper rally bike and likes to work hard. It's not really my riding style but with a few changes it's going to work for what I want it for.

I just need the weather to warm up to spend some time in the garage to do a bit of fettling and all will be great.

Got the bike from John at Motorrad Konnection. He couldn't have made buying a bike more easy. Even delivered it too.
