How do I break the news to my wife that I've bought a bike

My wife has a habit of buying stuff, putting it away for a week or so then just wearing it, when I ask, I get the stock answer --> "I've had it ages"


So now, I just put the bike in the garage and wheel it out when I need to. I say nothing about it and carry on as if I've ...'had it ages'

wife away looking after daughter after wee one born 11 weeks prem and the other grandkids needed supervision, so unsupervised for weeks :woohoo:

few weeks ago she goes in the garage to find somethng and spots 3 extra XLVs.......

So when where you going to tell me about the figging Twins......

told her about the master plan to revive them and sell them on and reduce the fleet ....

she didn't believe that either..

I think you need to own up straight away and discuss it with her. You run the risk of a disasterous Christmas if you go that route!

Tell her today and if she is against it; which as your wife and thus equal partner, she's entitled to be; you may still be able to cancel the deal as the finance is possibly going to have a cooling off period involved.
