Gotta agree with Tim.

My wife has a habit of buying stuff, putting it away for a week or so then just wearing it, when I ask, I get the stock answer --> "I've had it ages"

So now, I just put the bike in the garage and wheel it out when I need to. I say nothing about it and carry on as if I've ...'had it ages'

Whats good for the goose, as they say.

Tell her today and if she is against it; which as your wife and thus equal partner, she's entitled to be; you may still be able to cancel the deal as the finance is possibly going to have a cooling off period involved.

"I'm a bloke, it's my money, I'll do what I like" is the mentality of a previous generation!
Words of wisdom..........but, it would be funny, if only for a second. Ok. Okay. Relax!!!! I'll Man up, grow a pair - 'El pronto' and tell her tonight.

Good to see you've taken your first steps to emancipation. It's a long road brother, stay strong, remember the words of Nelson Mandela....."Get back in the kitchen Winnie....the main man's back"

The only way I could wangle my latest bike was by buying her a puppy.......we now have three dogs lol
I have decided not to add to my fleet as can't cope with any more dogs running round the house lol.
