Thanks guys i took the carb apart again had look at the O ring, it looks OK..
But it feels a tad slack, for a good seal when i fitted the valve needle seat back into the carburetor body.
Cheers guys... its got to be that then a worn or a fu..ed, lol O ring.
Don't suppose anyone knows the Suzuki part number i need for the O ring.

Just for info, you get all the O rings, gaskets, neadle valve & seat and a new float assembly in the kit.
I, like you had my carb apart many times, thought i'd fixed it a few times, but leak always came back. Once the overhaul kit was fitted, never had the problem again. HTH.

Fitted the carb overhaul kit no more flooding, plus starts a runs a treat as well better than before.
Was getting bit worried thought might be going down that rosd ,not on my DR and on the three
letter bike corporations, them one's beging with B and K thank God for that i can fix my DR

I leaned stuff from this thread, occasionally get the same issue with my Serow - a knock usually sorts it

I have seen people 'fix' this problem with sharp tap on the float bowl with a wooden object, hammer shaft is ideal!
