If the float valve seat "O"ring 24 is faulty then fuel will leak past it causing flooding.
That's the one that usually causes the problem, also check the metal 'tang' or the float may not be seating correctly.

Thanks guys i took the carb apart again had look at the O ring, it looks OK..

But it feels a tad slack, for a good seal when i fitted the valve needle seat back into the carburetor body.

Cheers guys... its got to be that then a worn or a fu..ed, lol O ring.

Don't suppose anyone knows the Suzuki part number i need for the O ring.

Cheers again for your help Guys.

Just for info, you get all the O rings, gaskets, neadle valve & seat and a new float assembly in the kit.

I, like you had my carb apart many times, thought i'd fixed it a few times, but leak always came back. Once the overhaul kit was fitted, never had the problem again. HTH.

I have seen people 'fix' this problem with sharp tap on the float bowl with a wooden object, hammer shaft is ideal!
