Have you used these on a 1200GS?. Is grip good if hard wearing?

I'm thinking of putting these on my X Country.

Cheers Dave.
I used the K60(Scout) on my africa twin and they are a really good tyre I have total confidence in them both wet and dry.

Got them on my 1200...researched all tyres i could find and did my research as usual....

Turned out these were the puppies on the block.

Loads and loads of wear out of them on all terrain.

Horses for courses of course but i won't go back to tourance after these, much longer wearing and excellent compromise for the terrain i tend to do, most of which is road

Have a gander and do what you think is right for you and your travelling

Mine is with the fatherland of tyres at the moment

Yes I did, Thanks for asking. :)
The intercom worked wonderfully, lots of rider/ pillion conversations about the names of the mountains, ie, the five sisters. We stopped to take pictures of the young stags and hinds in the valley on our way over the pass to Applecross, which was shrouded in mist on the upper parts, a most wonderfu experience with the visor up looking for the track which is call a road.
And all the time we were up there it never stopped raining.

Tuesday was a very nice day so we decided to stay in Scotland another night. Glencoe was our choice, I've camped and B+B in Glencoe many times. It took the whole day to get there from Appecross. We arrived at our B+B around 4.30 pm. Unpacked and went for a walk along the river, then onto the Clachaig inn for a few samples of there real ales and a bite to eat.

The next day was a steady ride back home enjoying the wind blowing us from one side of the road to the other as we crossed Rannoch moor, As it always does.

Will we be going back again? You bet we are, I've been going for over 30 years and no matter what the weather is like its still a wonderful place to ride your bike, Even if the roads eat your tyres :P

Cheers Dave.
