Hi...is the bike still available, and is it electric start, and whereabouts in UK?

Questions from my mate, but I can vouch for him 8-)

Thanks

Re: Have you ordered

I expect there will be more casualties now that companies can’t sell as much as they did during the pandemic, yet they've scaled up production to meet the high sales numbers that they were achieving just a few years ago...hot tubs, dog stuff, cars, fire pits, camper vans, home cinema gadgets etc ...

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

I think we rode some mid-wales trails about 20 years ago with a lady called Marianne from Machynlleth..or Llanidloes...? That was in the days when that place called Tom's farm was still open...and also with a very useful off road guide called Clive from Swansea...in The Gap/Sarn Helen areas...?

Re: New 2025 DRZ - the DR-Z 4s

920mm (or 36 inch) seat height... 8-) . I've got the same 'low revs assist' and 'one touch start' electronic wizardry on my GSX-S1000F and they are both good features... 8-)

...apparently it's heavier than the old DRZ...

Re: New 2025 DRZ - the DR-Z 4s

Looks nice. I had one for tail riding about 20 years ago. I found it a bit top heavy but it was still good enough. Shame they can't fit a 6th gear in it, though.

The Vosges and The Black Forest

In late August, we did a 1500 squiggly mile, 6 nights, return trip to the Vosges in eastern France and the Black Forest in western Germany.
The Bikes were my Suzuki GSXS1000F, a BMW R1250GS Adventure, and a Ducati Multistrada V4S. The route we took was as follows:

Day 1 – Aylesbury to Folkestone ...

Re: Bike Cover. Which one?

I've used an Oxford Stormex bike cover, comes in different sizes and works well.
