KTM has ceased production for 3 months.

I suspect nothing much will be built until 2024 bikes are cleared out of the dealers. So don't order a 2025.

You can get a new 2024 790 Adventure now for a very low price

And I'm sure other dealers are asking even less.

Finally some consumer reality is dawning on the big boys.
The bike market is certainly juggling many flaming torches currently and the cash rich western consumers are no longer the cash cows of old and the banks are getting nervous.
The same is happening in the new car market although those manufacturers are dealing with other political/environmental pressures compounding their sales (that's not a comment on the validity of those pressures).
Personally I can't exploit the capability of the KTM's these days but for those that can it will be a good deal.... unless you've recently bought one  .
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

I expect there will be more casualties now that companies can’t sell as much as they did during the pandemic, yet they've scaled up production to meet the high sales numbers that they were achieving just a few years ago...hot tubs, dog stuff, cars, fire pits, camper vans, home cinema gadgets etc. etc.... I'm only guessing... :? :?

Interesting thought from that….
We were pondering getting a ‘day van’ with small kitchen and picnic table and chairs to eat in or out.
I need to look and see if prices have dropped enough.
2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro sadly gone due to ill health.
Now on a 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X but may be fitter next year.

It will be interesting to see the knock-on effect that dumping 130 000 bikes on the market will have. BMW will probably feel that. We don't know at the moment what their status is.

Plenty of 2025 models listed.

It doesn't look like that amount of bikes will be unleashed onto the market?
Thunderroad bikes are still stored away?
I've read that new tesla cars are lined up in huge car parks .. unsold.

I'm trying to figure out what's going on.
There's been huge global changes recently.
Huge money bailouts.
I've read that the banks were involved in the 1920s crash and depression. But they've never stopped making money.. or making money.

I'm guessing that any bike price drops are a temporary thing , more to do with the struggling bike shops, than policy. Hope I'm wrong. Lol.

The value held by the unsold stock, surely, will be snapped up by the big boys? and remarketed at possibly just slightly lower prices? Or held until us cash cow's are ready to be milked again?
