Re: Hello from Thailand

I saw Geoff at an Horizons unlimited rally in Ripley a few years ago, very nice guy. His website poor circulation has some good stuff on it to.

Used a Tiger 955i to cross Russia and down the west coast of the USA. Bonza guy.

Re: 5 days in northern spain

'in March in Northern Spain you'll get a bit cold & wet', should be like northern France in May. In the space of less than an hour I have realised I need to revise 'plan A'. Nothing is set in stone, however, I am limited by time to either March or Sept. I have heard northern spain is a must see ...

Re: 5 days in northern spain

The latest I could go would be the last week in March, I understand the weather would be less than tropical. However, it would have to be spring or after September 2012, I just can't get the time away otherwise. Either way it should be better weather than what will be on offer in the north east of E...

The plan, to travel from British West Hartlepool to board a ferry to one of the northern Spanish ports. To then spend 5 days exploring the countryside. N...

Re: why i ride

Norway, I was over there 4 years ago on a 1988 BMW R80RT solo.

If the Newcastle ferry was still running I'd go back no hesitation.

Re: Honda Dominator

I rode one for a short while, noisy, lots of vibration and no wind protection.

Fast and interesting on corners. Much prefer the transalp or a Kawaka kle

Re: anyone got experiance with strap ons ??

I tend to use bungees to keep my scottish wife in place when she rides pillion.

Re the Halford straps, again try BMW dealerships they often give them away.

I'm a tight wad therefore every penny saved a penny saved?
