OK, fair point. The Acerbis is available under two other brand names and one is very cheap. But so is the quality, imho. None of these have a pinlock system either, which is another proviso I should have stated, sorry.

Thanks for the write up. I just bought this helmet yesterday and really like it so far. Testing it properly on Sunday in Wales. I wanted the adventure style, but with a sun visor - choice of just one at the moment....

I really don't think you are alone. Work is the time you spend doing 'things' so you can have money to do the things you need for your basic needs plus your soul (if you are lucky, which most of us are in the western world so far).
