Has anyone heard of Tuzo?

Post by Freeloadeur »

I spotted these boots the other day in my eternal quest to find boots that a) have enough width for my wide feet b) have enough height for my high arches c) don't have weird lumps where my ankle bones are and d) don't break my meagre budget.

They're SK9T's, made by Tuzo, but I've never heard of them.

They look ok, but does anyone have any experience of them?

Tuzo is a budget range (stocked by M&P, and others),but none the worse for that. I've couple of pairs of Tuzo boots, and gloves, which are fine. The boots are more basic than those you show, but have stood up to about 3 years of use and remain waterproof. My only concern is that the sole is a bit thin, and on the oldest pair will soon lose all tread and/or develop a hole. But I'll have had my money's worth

Thanks for that, I'll be on the phone tomorrow to ask about fit, and assuming they're ok, or M & P have a decent returns policy, I'll order then and let everyone know what they're like when they arrive.

They look like a good compromise between 'touring' type boots and full 'Motocross' style, can't see anywhere that says that they're waterproof, anyone know any different?

I have a pair that I've had for three weeks now (used them up to chill out and back to devon) very comfortable and they appear to be waterproof to well so far for £70 they seem to be very good. I'll keep you updated.

How do you find the fit m I've got quite wide feet, with high arches so a lot of boots don't fit that well. A usual I'm worried about buying boots online.

I wouldn't worry about them not being waterproof...just buy yourself a pair of Sealskins waterproof socks :)

They seem ok to me... What size are you? Im size 12 with fat legs and they were a bit tight to put on at first but now they are fine.
