Greetings folks,
for those of you who might like to follow the long distance trials here is some news about Edinburgh Trial, Saturday 28th September '24.
Message quoted from the CofC. 'Maintaining the support of those who live work and holiday in the Peak District is essential to the success of our events. Part of that is achieved by visiting homes, farms, businesses on and close to the route and sections. There is even greater emphasis close to areas we designate and advertise as spectator points. We also have to take into account and manage the expectations of those bodies that have oversight of the countryside such as Natural England and the National Park. So for those reasons this year's nominated spectator points are fewer and different from recent years. You ll still see some cracking action and beautiful countryside and have the opportunity to see the crews and vehicles close up.'
Spectator points:
Duke of York, Pomeroy - from 6:30 - 18:00 (Start/Breakfast Halt/Finish)W3W: Decking.rentals.linguists
Calton - from 5:30am (5 miles east of Buxton)W3W: Chairs.displays.plotter
Booth Farm - from 12:00pm (3 miles South of Buxton)W3W: Registry.handlebar.spoiler
Litton Slack- from 12:30pm onwards (2 miles east of Litton Village)W3W: Flattens, highs, prelude

Thanks for all your help with the event, and for the help you gave Rick and me, Hugh.
Made it to the end. No medals, but no sections missed and amazing weather/starscape..
As ever, best thing about the even is your fellow competitors. There can be no friendlier motorsport.
