I bought this bike in May this year, specifically for a road trip from Cheshire to The South of France.
Taking in small roads and culminating in a few days with Phil at his place (Brilliant place to stop and explore) to ride some of “His” trails.
Alright…..at times I wished I was on a more plush bike on the UK roads down to the ferry, but the weather was pretty kind and the bike has plenty of power for A roads.
It excelled on trails down there. Plenty of poke from the engine and it was easy and fun off road.
I’ve not used it much since, just a bit of trail riding in The Peak District.
Before I went to Phil’s the front wheel bearings were changed. I noticed some wear on the front axle.
When I got back I replaced the front axle, put new tyres on, replaced the chain (Sprockets were fine) and did an oil and filter change.
It starts on the button and it’s in great condition.
It’s got a few important upgrades….
Folding Off Road Mirrors
Big Bash Plate (Husky)
12v Socket on bars
Riding Lights
Heavy duty hand guards
Rear rack (Plate)
New rear tyre.
The previous owner has modified the seat. It’s actually quite comfortable, but it doesn’t look the best. If I were keeping it I’d have the seat professionally re-worked and covered.
I’d Take £3250.00.
