XT660R 2004 Speedo

Hi, I cannot change the digi display from kph to mph ! Tried pressing the button for a few seconds, one after the other, turning ignition on/off whilst holding my tongue out etc etc but with no luck. Anybody help please ? Ta.

According to owners manual, you have to hold down the select button for at least 2 seconds...

Also.... if its not a uk bike, you may be stuck with km's only.
