The bike has got me back into trail riding/green laning for not too much outlay so i am upgrading to a bigger bike this weekend (the CCM 404ds on here), shortage of space means i need to make room in the garage for it asap so a reasonable offer for a quick sale might be acceptable. I have recently fitted knobbly tyres and UHD innertubes and reinforced hand guards to it as well as modifying the front mudguard size and locating it higher up so it stands me at about £1050 so don't be too cheeky with any 'offers' as it is already a decent price. I have to move it asap to fit the CCM in its place but I don't get this 'its too far away' when looking for a bike malarky :S

I live near Wigan in Lancashire and bought this from Peterborough but have bought previous bikes from devon, plymouth, dover , poole etc etc. Ask the right questions over the phone and ask around if anyone knows the bike on here. I go out regularly on this and my AT with several other ABR members up here in the NW of england so ask away, they won't lie on my behalf (i wouldn't ask them to) so ask them. Its on Ebay and i have 100% feedback on there so rest assured that i am not a scroat or unreliable person. It has 142 watchers within a couple of hours so it will go quickly. The 2 other NX's on ebay are £1799 and £1999 so don't dally around.

I don't doubt you Scotsy, am sure this is the bike that Neil 'lampkin' Cowling recommended when Chris was selling it.

What a lovely bike. I really am too far away to be interested but there is a nice one near me that makes me wonder f this would be a good ride to Morocco next autumn. So, fr this guys who know the bike, what do yin think for a (slow) 4-5,000 kms run?

Agree. Ive bought my last 5 bikes unseen and 3 of them just got a hundred quid man with a van to collect and deliver. No dramas. And that included 2 £5k bikes. If they turned out to be piles of crap id just sell on and accept whatever loss. So agree, distance should never come into it.
