Re: Kawa X300 dual sport
Just spoke about that bike this morning with a sales rep at BMW Manchester whilst waiting on my service to be completed [20% off this month!].He seemed keen to get them in next year when they have completed the new showroom/workshop building work.I guess the point is to get youngesters in BMWs early then upsell them later on.
I met Chris at the BMW training camp earlier in the year seems a well able rider on the off-road topic (thumbs)

I had a look at that Link, and was disappointed to see Kawasaki have sneaked this cop-out clause into the section about wheelsBokitoJos wrote:http://www.kawasaki.eu/en/products/dual ... QkOXgkLW1A

19”/17” Spoke Wheels with Multi-Purpose Tyres
While the Versys-X was not designed for off-road use, 19” front and 17” rear spoke wheels give it greater capability on unpaved roads than its larger, street focused brothers.
It all depends what you mean by "off-road"
UK Green lanes are unpaved public roads. Most of the Trans America Trail is on legally public roads.
However, I doubt that's what Kawasaki mean.
There seems to be a sudden wash of low capacity adventure bikes for 2017, with the Strom 250, the 300GS and the CRF250 Rally all appearing.
It will be interesting to see them all side by side, and compare the power weight range etc.
Can we request this for a future edition of ABR mag?

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

It seems very similar to the Honda 500 CBX Except for the wheels. 17" on the Honda F&R.

Re: Kawa X300 dual sport
Quite interesting that Kwak for a littleun adventure bike....
Be interesting to know the specs & price.... I expect it'll be low 30's BHP, £5K price tag and heavier than the CRF250L
