Bloody hell.
That must be one of your worst nightmares. The truck driver did not even know what had happened or did know and thought it better to clear off.
I hope the people on the bike were not too badly injured.

Bad! It reminds me of an accident locally some years ago. The bucket arm of a JCB being carried on a pickup broke free and decapitated the driver of an oncoming car, horror story stuff.
