Just wanted to see if there were any fellow Stelvio owners out there? Let me know if you are interested in starting a sub-group to swap stories, hints and tips on accessories, maintenence and the like.

Re: Any MG Stelvios out there?
Have 2011 black stelvio with 4400 miles on the clock 52 miles to the gallon
Re: Any MG Stelvios out there?
I have a 2013 Stelvio NTX. Just coming up to 12,000 miles. Most of these have been on longer distance trips abroad. Has been very relaible so far; only issue being the well known one of 'clutch groan'

I have this clutch groan too but only when the bike is cold. Goes away when hot. Any idea what causes it?djwarrack wrote:I have a 2013 Stelvio NTX. Just coming up to 12,000 miles. 2014 stelvio (not NTX).
Yes, I have the clutch groan too. It only happens when cold and usually only the first time I pull away. Have checked with the dealer (Streffords) and they confirm what everyone else is saying. About 80% of stelvios do it and it doesn't have any long term affect.
It's a bit like us riders. We groan when we first get up out of bed in the morning. Well, those my age do
A very engaging and entertaining bike to ride at all speeds. I particularly like the lack of complication and no silly rider aids. This leads to a lovey direct connection you have when riding and maintaining it.

Re: Any MG Stelvios out there?
How many models/years are there? What is the most basic model with the least "aids"?
I really fancy one of these in the stable when I get riding again (soon (thumbs) ). Had a LeMans 25 years ago and loved it, went to Moto Strada, Keighley about 8 years ago to buy a Guzzi Quota but came away with my 4th Elefant :pinch:
cheers Marc
