Goretex socks?

Post by Brenhden »

I think Gore-Tex might be a good idea. Can anyone recommend some?
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

If you're going to be riding in the winter then go for SealSkinz. They're expensive but they're very good.

Army ones! Short or long on eBay like these.

I think there better than sealskin type ones as these are thinner and are great in the summer worn with thin wicking socks in winter same wicking socks, and easy to pack away.

I'd go Goretex.
I find sealskinz draw my feet so much that I can't wear them. Think the ones I had were millitary.
They were Black.

I have sealskinz and really rate them. However, if the Army ones are thinner then I'll give a pair a go as the sealskinz may my boots a little tight.

Depends if you need waterproof or not? I use thousand mile socks normally as my boots hold out the wet (so far)

Both gotex and sealskins get mistaken ....the sealskins arw strechable and both come off ebay as army seconds or new...inlike the sealskin ones...toasty in winter ..white inside black out...
