Hi all.
Doing a wee bit of tinkering today and noticed that my regular hand cleaner is nearly finished.
Currently been using the original green Swarfega for some time now and will need to purchase soon.
What else is out there and what do you guys use? (thumbs)

A good one in an emergency is to use fairy liquid then get salt, be careful if you have any cuts. Or sugar to act as the abrasive. Saved me many a time when I have run out.

Re: Hand Cleaner?
I find neat washing up liquid gets the oil off but it leaves my hands dry and kind of brittle. I will try some swarfega.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

I use the orange Tufanega which I think has both orange oil to help with dissolving the oily mess and the little abrasive bits in it to help with scrubbing yer paws - same company (Deb chemicals I think) and it comes in a variety of tub sizes.
Good stuff

That stuff will destroy your skin...
I use Permatex Fast Orange or Loctite hand cleaners. Gentle on the skin and have pumice in, so a great gritty substance that cleans well and doesn't dry out the skin. Mine are 1 gallon push down dispensers.

Teaspoon of sugar, drop of Fairy, rub together and then add a few drops of water, best and cheapest hand cleaner (thumbs) and the sugar seems to leave your hands soft, missus might appreciate thatzimtim wrote:A good one in an emergency is to use fairy liquid then get salt, be careful if you have any cuts.
