I have a Kyam Biker and another 'pole tent' however I am looking for a tent for my Battlefields Tour that has the following attributes:
Light
Small
Easy/Quick to put up (avioided the 'erect' word as I know it would encourage smut LOL)
Reasonable price
I will be moving every day and I hate putting up and taking down tents so I want the least fuss and effort. The Kyam is great but a little big and bulky for my next trip.
All suggestions greatly received.
Tents
Re: Tents
Check out the range of 'Quechua' pop up tents.
Not the sort of tent I've considered, but I met a chap in Spain last week, he'd been on a three week trip through Portugal and Spain, and spoke very highly of his little tent.
On the typically Spanish hard ground he didn't even bother pegging it down.. Just relying on the weight of his kit..

Re: Tents
Vango banshee 300, up in under 10 mins.
2.4kgs, small pack size, fits I'm my topbox and it's double doors so you can choose which side to get out.
I've used it for 10 days in France and plenty of other trips.

Re: Tents
1+ used it in Ireland for two weeks, totally waterproof, can get some condensation and the ground sheet is very thin so I used a couple of small tarps from poundland underneath it.special one wrote:Vango banshee 300, up in under 10 mins.

Managed to put it up on my own in a howling gale so easy to erect
