Sabah ~ Borneo weekend ride

Me and two friends finally managed to fit in a two day escapades during a particular weekend, after we're done with some assignments in Borneo. a quick browse in the internet showed a bike-for-hire company called Go-Go Sabah, a company based in Kota Kinabalu,the capital city of Sabah, Malaysia.
the rent for a KLX 150cc Kawasaki was $70 per day, that's approximately 12GBpounds.

the ride covered about 300kilometres from our start point, kota kinabalu, to The Mount Kinabalu ( the highest peak in SE Asia), to Ranau, Tambunan, and back to Kota Kinabalu.

although it's a relatively short ride, i think it was quite a feat as we were all from peninsular Malaysia, and it is not often this kind of opportunity arises for us.

I climbed Kinabulu as a kid, well actually went most of the way up in a Landrover, happy days.

i envy u Kavb, i've never been up mt.kinabalu myself. we rode only so far as the starting point for climbers.
