same dealership quoted about 200 to 220 for 18k service on a GS.
oil & filter change, plus gen check over.
Purchased an oil filter and same spec oil for £40 and did it myself. Will try and find an independent for the 24k. Love the bike but the servicing costs are expensive if you rack up miles. My last company car was serviced when the onboard computer advised. I averaged 23k between services. Longer service intervals for cars are demanded by fleet companies and general competition. Unfortunately bikes are seen as leisure items hence the ££££
Did the 1000 include replacement shims etc?

You just mentioned Triumph and warranty in the same sentence Mike! FMDSH makes bugger all difference when you trade in as you will of bought the wrong colour or model or actually used the thing so independent is the way to go. It will just take some digging as they dont have flashy websites or showrooms.

seriously .. it would be 1465 in servicing costs in ten months .does seem a tad extream ..deffo shop round surly that cant be right :pinch:
