Scotland's Highlands to Neolithic Orkney

Post by Moorso »

I can't quite believe this week away came together, but it did - and in short order.
I cannot recommend this trip highly enough, the roads (in the main) were superb, the views breathtaking and culminating in touring the World Heritage Sites of Neolithic Orkney the cherry on the cake.

We mixed in camping (e.g., Red Squirrel Campsite near Glencoe) with hiring glamping pods etc which made a welcome break as it got cold in the evenings.

Now have a fork seal to get repaired, but all good!

Thanks Flintock - as ever, the video never does the sale of the landscapes justice.
