The H.A.T includes the highest rideable through-trail in North Africa, peaking at nearly 11,000', and once it gets going, never drops below 5000'.
Even in the good conditions we had, parts – particularly the steep switchback ascents – are ill-suited to giant, wide Advs, unless of course you're a great rider ;-)
The H.A.T runs far from the tourist traps so fuel stations and lodgings are spaced out; you'll probably need to rely in village fuel until they finish the new station in Agouti (Stage 2/3). Or of course you can camp anywhere. Bring a hat.
We couldn't quite finish it before the snows came down. Maybe you can.
