The Pig Place Camping.

Post by Magnusson »

Top biker friendly place, not too far from Ragley Hall. I stayed there on my way there. :D
This place has it all, bar with cold beer, breakfast and occasional live band in the evenings. The owners have bikes themselves and are nice and friendly.

Always looking for good recommendations:
What are the showers like? Pitches good sized? How does it feel when it’s busy, noisy?

They are not on the water main. The water comes from a borehole so there is limited amount of it. So no showers.
There are various pitches. I picked a nice one close to the main building with the farm store.
I'm biased since I liked the place so much. The weather was awesome. The place was quiet, occasional train could be heard passing by on the other side of the canal. Few campers sitting in a sofa by a log fire near the "pub".
First I tried a nearby camp site, but that was scouts only. So the scouts directed me to this place. Said it was the best campsite in ten mile radius. I'm inclined to think that they were right.
