I found a guy online who designs DIY rally trip meters (Like an ICO or the F2R phone app). I bought his PCB from him (£30) and then bought all the other components from RS and online (Arduino mini computer, electronic components, case, switches etc - Approx £30).
Here's what I bought along with videos of how it works and how to make it from scratch -

It works fine, however I'm pretty crap at soldering and DIY so it wouldn't hurt for someone to redo some of the bits and tidy it up. It comes with the hall sensor and a magnet (To do your wheel speed), as well as a handlebar switch if you wanted to add switches to bump up/down from the handlebar rather than use the 4 x switches on the box itself.
It had two trip meters, an odometer and a speedo. The first trip meter you can bump up/down in 1m increments. I see from looking at the page that he's updated the software to 4.12, so if you're half handy with a computer, you can connect the USB cable to the Arduino and upload the new software (Instructions on his page) as mine is still on 4.11.
Not bothered about any money for it, but a fiver to cover P&P (Or collect from me in Lutterworth)
