How to improve your riding...Most important riding skill?
What do you guys think is the most important skill for improving your overall riding? Is it vision, throttle control, braking, body position? Can you break it down to one technique or skill that would create the most change in your riding? Thoughts?

After over 4 decades of riding, I'd say the most important skill is not falling off.
It's one I still hope to master!
(although on my 950 I always opt to let the thing fall gently, rather then fight it and have it win!)

Answering the controller via the walkie talkie to pick up yet another EC4 while negotiating West End traffic with 7 jobs on board and altering route mid course while doing a U-ey on Regent Street.
Well it was my most important riding skill.
Well it was my most important riding skill.

There's not just one that is a fix all, but I'm a firm believer inMisti wrote:What do you guys think is the most important skill for improving your overall riding? Planning..
Try a ride, just a usual trip like to work, without stopping or putting a foot down.
Pre emptive hazard perception are key.
