From the BMW range...

the 650/800GS is the LR Discovery - not quite got the comfort for huge mileage but very versatile and capable, on and off-road
the R1200GS is the Range Rover Sport - great road bike that, while it does have limits, is surprising capable off-road
the R1200GSA is the Range Rover - awesome for monster mileage on the road (350mile tank and great weather protection) and, in the right hands with it's high ground clearance, rather good off-road
the HP2 Enduro is the Bowler Wildcat - awesomely quick off-road and only good on the road if you like that sort of thing.

As others have said, it really comes down to what you want to do with it: commute to work, tour 2 up, go overlanding... all require different things of the bike

Thank you, Can someone give me info/opinion/Review on MG Stelvio 1200 NTX. Also how this bike is accepted in UK market. As the price offer for Stelvio is attractive compared to R1200GS

Id say the Stelvio is the Joe Jones of bikes.
