Re: Got to go.
I once looked at the trf. but on my way back from wellies and wristbands in waddlington I bumped into 2 guys with trf stickers on there bikes at the petrol station near roundabout just up from Clitheroe golf courses and they told me some horror stories about the trf and how they were just out to get money money money . They then told me about the ribble valley trail riders and told me pop down to the pub on a meeting day ... it all seemed just the same as the trf to me set out the same and just a different organisation name.
P.s Gary boy don't suppose this was yours that's at Staffords now seen it today and noticed the sticker

I can imagine it's difficult for the TRF. To do what they do fighting TROs and such (AFAIK anyway) they need money. Any kind of attempt to get subs or donations can come across as pushy, particularly dependant on who's doing it.
Also they aren't centralised so different areas run separately. I feel they'd benefit from the areas being given more direction in how to lay out a days riding to help and encourage new members, not end up with horror stories of being excluded/refused based on bike. Sure local knowledge is important and a big bike may not cope with a certain lane but there's almost certainly a road route around individual lanes, or just inform people and let them make a decision and learn for themselves.

Yes it's Stafford bikes . The engine I can agree is vibey as the one in my baghira is similar engine . I once looked at doing a deal for one but it never happened so stayed with the baghira was happy when I found an enduro front wheel for it though didn't want a change then

Re: Got to go.
So that's the chap who somehow seems to sell lots of bikes at Top dollar? heard many a tale of bikes being sold then appearing a couple of days later
at Staffords with a huge markup. Still ....they appear to sell so people must be happy to pay a lot extra for a decent clean!
what model is the bike on the right btw?
