Ok guys , don’t laugh but would these be ok for Sunday , I use them up on my lanes around Surrey or should I bang on my new one , just that I’ve got about 150miles of road work first ( don’t ask !!)

I haven't been to the plain for a couple months. So can't comment on how wet and muddy it is, but judging what it's like here, dry and with the cold fairly hard. But warming on Sunday could defrost the top layer making it fairly slippery

That rear mefo will be okay but I cannot vouch how your front will behave

Fronts brand new , If I get a chance I might bash a new mitas on

excuse my rudeness in interrupting ..
but I would have thought a mefo (explorer?) or e07 type tyre would be .. unfortunate? in that mud (been there)

better more nobbly rear .. e09, t63, anakee wild type?
and front .. xt644, mt21 type
or ITs?

o .. and a worn down tyre is just asking for it ? ?
there will be NO grip .. then add mud!

Well I wasn’t sure how wet it is on plain , it’s been quite dry up in Surrey so not to much to worry me , I’ll take any leads from Bods who’ve been out recently . My new rear is an e09

I'd wouldn't worry too much about riding with that on the back, mine are probably worse.

Yep, you'll be right man. Mine tyres are pretty well worn. No race.
I've got on OK with the Mefo before but they're not much good for gaining traction on slippery hills.... and it's a plain Changed it out half worn for some proper knobblies, but that's due the the type of riding I like to do.

If you get a chance whack that eo9 on if not dont worry too much
I put a fresh one the other day just take it easy on road for the few miles you will be surprised how good it is after it has warmed up and you have it scrubbed in a bit.

Well mine will have 4K miles on the rear so I’ll just have to drop a few extra psi.
