Forum Background?
Hi all,
For me browsing the forum recently since its switch to its new format, I couldn't help but think its too... white! It needs some background colour, so I've created a poll to see what users would like and hopefully the Alun and the team may consider its implementation?

Re: Forum Background?
Perhaps I should elaborate, the centre section of the forum stays white / black, but the background other than the 'centre section' goes a different colour. For me, I'm running a wide screen, so it's extremely white and excessive, needs a different colour to contrast / break things up.

Re: Forum Background?
I have just bought a Kindle and the paper white background is great.
Just an off white and no glare.
I have to agree that there is too much bright white for me and my old eyes.
But not as bad as pretty much every magazine that prints in thin type on a coloured background.

That's easily sorted. Select the "cascade" (I think it's called) button. The centre one of the "minimise - full screen" buttons very top right. As a default it should drop to the old 4:3 format. If it doesn't you can resize it manually by dragging the corners. Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs
As to the background, I think it depends on the device your using to view the site. Is it better for mobile viewers now?

A bit too plain for me, it's like going back to the Ride' s List days of about 10 years ago.

Keep it as it is, it's clean and readable IMHO. If you want some images on your screen, shrink your window and change your wallpaper to a slideshow of your favourite images
