I had a yellow one--flying banananananana!--great handling bike that worked well and carried luggage--before they got all complicated--can be had for a few dollar and are excellent value--especially if those high level exhausts are changed for much lighter ones such as ART.

Took a look at her yesterday, all in black. But she'd been about a bit a too much of a rough ride for me ... so back to some nice little Italian number for me!

Just replaced the wretched Photobucket links with directly uploaded pics which show the basics. I have a gear change lever to fix after the ABR weekend rally-but that shouldn't take long--jet washed and fired up and put to bed for the night--still fine for a good old'un!--and still for sale .

Quick update--whilst sorting through the spares I checked another gear lever on the splines of the spare engine-and they are fine-so although I have a robust fix on the bike there is the option of either an engine swap or using the shaft from this engine--worst case scenario. A complete gasket set is about 60 quid and available off fleabay. I have a clutch cover gasket already, about 4 sets of tyres, spare carb bits, reg/rect, coil, starter solenoid , ECU, spare rear lamp lense etc. Also I have a workshop manual in pdf format on hard disc. If it doesn't sell soon then I'll withdraw the offer and just carry on using it as its well sorted and supported.

Now to move onwards(and upwards--hopefully--with the Kawa SS).
ps just tested out the WR again on lowered gearing and knobblies--it really is a good piece of kit--and although Yam have dropped it from Europe(Euro 4-probably ABS sh1t), and from the US (Probably California sh1t)--THEY ARE STILL MAKING IT FOR OTHER MARKETS-ESPECIALLY OZ--so spares will still be about.
