Thanks for the update mate. With regards to Morocco dates 19/10/17 to 03/11/17 - are you planning to leave your residence (Southern France) on the 19th October 2017? Or are these dates for the actual time in Morocco? We (×2) are planning on taking a return ferry from UK to Spain (or France) and meet you en route.

Cheers

Date details have been listed on page one.

:)

.

20.10.17,now...is the date I leave my house.

As stated before if any one,due to ferry timings etc, needs to stay at my home, before or after the dates, then they can.

Once a rough route is decided then any rv points can be organised once stragglers come up with their timings.

For me it's preferable to come home on a later date as these dates allow any French riders to make the return beforehand. I'll probably overshoot the return date by a three or four days.

:)

WIBO,

Thanks mate. I will book ferry crossings accordingly. We will aim to be at your residence before 20th. If there's any delays, I will contact you and rearrange an RV point along the way. Looking forward to a great trip (thumbs)

Cheers

That's fine...bimble down at your own speed anytime beforehand. I'll ping GPS/address details closer to the time.

Normally we ride over Col du Pourtalet past El Formigal ski station and Biescas to Zaragoza etc.

In the meantime you can look for my village at Asson with a postcode of 64800 to orientate yourself.(I'll add this in page one also)

Then you'll need to plan a stop in central Spain so why not make that render-vous #2 for people taking the Santander/Bilbao ferries or, like me, will be coming form elsewhere in the Pyrenees?

The camping at Albarracín is still open after October 12th - when most campings close - and also has bungalows for the fainthearted as it's @ 1,200 metres and can be very cold at night. But there are also loads of cheap digs in the 'city'*

That also makes a nice onward trip to Almeria ready for the crossing from there - is that's the route we take?

Morn'in

Normally we'll be riding to Algeciras to arrive at Tanger Med,with that very same stop either just south of Madrid at an hotel at Manzanares or elsewhere. Rough details/route will evolve once all info filters in from other potential goats :)

(I've already stashed €120 for the January part of the Maroc fund)
