TRF becomming Extinct?

Reports, meets and other stuff on how to trash the bike with a grin on your chops.

You can nominate anyone to act as your proxy. I have happily used Hugh as he shares my concerns and ideals for the TRF. Rather than make any specific votes, I have given him the freedom to vote as he thinks fit, which I feel is best as he can then react to any events that may occur during the AGM.

I would strongly urge any member to do the same and hopefully rid the TRF of the current vociferous directors.

There appears to be a pre AGM onslaught of abuse, sarcasm and innuendo against nay-saying members at the moment.
2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro sadly gone due to ill health.
Now on a 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X but may be fitter next year.

I'd second Mike's remarks.

Hugh is a very decent guy...who does a lot for a lot of people outside trail riding, besides what he does for us as outlined above.

A true gentleman.

I've only met him once, when we got 100s of bikes up at Stanage Pole to mark/protest the closure of Long Causeway by the PDNPA. Typical of Hugh in that he turned the thing into a charity event that raised loads of toys and cash to help dirt-poor kids stuck in refugee camps in the world's most hellish trouble-spots.

You only have to contrast him with the rabid nutters who would ban motorcycling from the Peak District to see who has right on their side.

An "ordinary" member posting that sort of insult would be banned.

Not fit to hold the position.
Do you mean JV comments towards M ? If yes I thought that was appalling and I'm tempted to comment. What a vile little tw&t. Problem is it will probably just get deleted!
I did, and it was deleted ;)

Guess some nameless little Ork has been trolling on here, in the words of Vicky Pollard "what ever"!

To be serious though, how sad has it now become?

If you and others wish to bring about change then it is vital that you attend the AGM or that you complete and record a Proxy Vote.

It is a simple numerical exercise at this late stage.

If folk are happy to let the situation continue then they can either do nothing or vote to support the current Director/s, alternatively you can make a stand and vote against. I shall be attending the AGM on behalf of the Manchester Group, the vast majority of whom want change and respect so have named me as their Proxy Vote holder.

I have attached a copy of the Proxy Vote file which has my details on, you are welcome to use it or not as you see fit. Simply complete one copy with your name, address, TRF membership number, cross out the option NO, sign and date, then send it off to the address at the bottom of the instructions. Leave the resolutions section blank.

Why am I telling you this here, simply because many of my Posts and questions to the Directors are summarily removed from the TRF Forum.

It is your TRF.

If you are the same person who was banned by the TRF directors then you have proved that words do fail you twice.

Based on the current membership figures the TRF is getting an income in excess of £160,000 pa.
The current directors have refused to answer specific questions about how this money is being used.
There have been questions raised about inappropriate expenses and why money is being spent needlessly to further the aim of certain directors but those asking these questions are denied answers and either have posts removed or are banned from posting.
Is there any wonder that people are concerned that the FELLOWSHIP is extinct.
