I rode Gary's 250L over the Epynt Ranges on Boxing Day, when we swapped bikes I was very impressed with it! Solid feel, was quite nimble over the tank roads and felt quite planted on the tarmac. Bit tall for me to get my leg over though.

Too tall for me too, Paul. Today , trying to mount that tall saddle , I lifted my leg but fell on my back like a turtle twat. :blush: Lowering link is a must!! :S (thumbs) :pinch:

PS .. GP450 is very very good (lowered version ) :) very confidence inspiring and good low torque (thumbs)

has anyone lowered the seat by drilling holes in the bottom shock bracket? B)

did it work out ok?
any bottoming out issues?
handling ok?

... and how much did the seat lower?
and how much did you lower the forks?

ps ... could this drilling be done with the shock insitu?
