Yup sure have let's just say to make camping viable my lady has every creature comfort however the hair straighteners are not coming next year. However I'm made up she will camp now but we have to camp instead of hotel at least another 20 times to eventually make the gear pay for itself.

After years of traveling around Europe I can't believe that I had not visited the Pyrenees before!! Stunning views and brilliant roads.

You can't beat sharing these experiences with good friends.

Where you stay can make a brilliant trip even better.

The Yamaha MT09 Tracer is one hell of a touring bike at a very reasonable price.

Most French people are lovely.

35 degrees is bloody hot in full riding gear.

Cross channel ferries are freaking boring.

Mesh gloves and trousers are worth their (lack) of weight in gold.Even riding in 36c I was never really uncomfortably hot.

this was my first year having a proper look at the picos, and the ferry to santander, you could do this on a long weekend, which we have booked again for june

Travel towels - it's a posh duster for removing polish, back to ye old towels for me (thumbs)
