have try sarge by all means its deffo much better just watch out for the kick in 2nd ..im too frightened to bang it open in 1st ill need a bit of practice with that im a bit wary i have the reaction time of the exon valdiz

the exhaust chas is way too noisy when going slow quite annoying not too bad cruising on a even throttle ..but it does make a nice howl high up ..id like it to be quiter ..i aint goin to sneak through any farmyards thats for sure..im using earplugs even on shorter rides now

Just ordered our performance packs and quite happy to accept the improved smoothness but not sure I want the extra noise! Well, maybe a little bit extra

The original 644 remus is friggin loud but has only a 100mm silencer inside,the supermoto is ear piercing...ask Sarge!...

i dunno maby its me but it gets on me tits without earplugs its far more noisy than the o/e and that wasnt whisper queit ..cant see any stamp on it but quills website say they are and i havnt removed the baffle and if i could i wouldnt it would probably set off car alarms ..i just stick me plugs in and it sounds perfect then :laugh:

In the quick bits of that clip, the exhaust can certainly be heard. For sure that would become tiring after a while.
I've not gone for the full package, but waiting on the power commander.

Out of interest has anyone plonked a pillion on the back & how was it both handling & comfort wise.

I'm not thinking continent crossing, more leaving the car at home to beat traffic or a nice pootle out somewhere.

The Mrs has expressed an interest in popping on the back so it will be a consideration on my next purchase.....not a huge one mind you

I have taken my 12 year old son and sixteen year old daughter on the back. It was fine for short journeys but if I was taking either of them more than 30 miles I would take my Cali III.

Hi P4ulie,I ride my ccm 90% of the time with my wife on the back.It rides fine except the pillion foot pegs are set at a height for a 5 year old. On long rides I have to stop to let her stretch her legs often. I will be cutting the pillion peg hoops and adding 3 inches to drop them down. She also finds the seat (standard height ) to thin and uncomfortable but I have solved this with a cheap air hawk type cushion. We can do up to 300 mile days but the pegs are the main problem (unless your pillion has an 18 inch inside leg or less).
The other thing is if you want to set the SAG right you will need the heavier duty spring on the back
