Email notifications

For the last 3-4 days I've been getting a lot of email notifications regarding threads which the system thinks I'm subscribed to but I'm not. Is anyone else having the same issue or is it just me and should I change the email address for notifications so they just go to a spam trap?

Had this a while back. You can switch of email notification by un following a thread. But what you may has done is subscribed to a topic so you will get email notification for every time anyone replies to any thread within a subscribed topic.
Eg every thread in the pub topic will generate an email.


I don't.follow.any threads I just try.to remember the.ones.I've enjoyed reading, not always easy with so much crap being posted lately

I'm not (as far as I can tell) subscribed to any of the threads which is why it seemed strange that I'm getting the notifications. If it's just me getting this I'll turn everything off but that means no notification of personal messages though they're pretty rare so I can deal with that.

You can switch everything off and still keep PM message email notifications.

Drop Treadtrader a pm with your issue he will know the.best steps and will point you in right direction
He helped.me when I had this issue.

I've changed the notification settings so I still get pm notifications and nothing else. That'll do for me (thumbs)

Click on the topic and unsubscribe.

Thanks, I thought I'd made sure I wasn't subscribed to any topics but must have missed that one.
