Where do I connect my phone charger
Re: Where do I connect my phone charger
It do seem a bit strange the amount of power it drained from the Battery in such a short time. I would want to look at the bikes charging & battery as a in case, something on the way out?
I would of fitted a switch any way as a matter of course.
I got a Marine USB & Socket for SWMBO SV 650
Was quite cheap £4.99 to go on the bars.
This was intended for her Twat Nav, Aldi had some Garmin £45.00 & funny enough Lidl had some Solar power packs, £8.99 used it the other day out of interest, didn't take as long as I thought it might to charge a Samsung, from dead.

We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go Always a little further: it may be Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow, Across that angry or that glimmering sea.

I like being in a tent or a hammockjohnnyboxer wrote:Another good reason to stay in air conditioned luxury of a decent hotel room then
Plus none of that crawling around on your knees nonsense either
None of those annoying hotel guests stealing all the croissants or rogering away all night in the room next door :woohoo:
I enjoy the sounds and odours of my fellow campers and the freedom to urinate against a hedge in the moonlight

I must be doing something wrong as I can manage to access the "caravan" power hookups on most campsites for a mere £1/€1 a day or for free if I can do it stealthily. If I know I'm going to be on a campsite for a few days I may even take a short fly lead to connect to the mains. I also have a strange 2 pin cigarette style socket that plugs into the (euro) mains then I can plug in the car charger for the phone.Africa John wrote:Not an option if you're a camping fan

Re: Where do I connect my phone charger
Get yourself one of those aldi/lidl solar changers, they can be used to charge satnav or phone. Mine was about £10 and it can be charged of my bike accessory socket or usb converter at any campsite with mains in laundry or toilet block
Re: Where do I connect my phone charger
Had a mate that always did that, he had a very short lead and used to pitch the tent close to the Outlet, but some sites seemed to have remote "Off" controls :whistle:Peirre wrote:I must be doing something wrong as I can manage to access the "caravan" power hookups on most campsites for a mere £1/€1 a day or for free if I can do it stealthily.
