Re: New to the Biking World
Hi Nat!
My wife bought herself this a few months ago, and hasn't looked back.
She's got a few thousand miles in since and is loving it - there's a lot more women coming into biking and its great to see! (thumbs)
Before she knew it - a lass she used to work with got in touch, and she owns a similair bike - and she's off out having girly motorbike lunches etc -
There's a nationwide lasses bike club too - my wifes not been - but keeps saying she'll pop and have a look:

Welcome to the forum, try to build confidence riding in the wet and get some decent riding gear, otherwise living in Britain you will spend a lot of time waiting for good weather, which is really annoying (thumbs)

Welcome to the forum. Watch out for a few dodgy characters. Like Stewie.
Re: New to the Biking World
It depends who you normally ride with and what you want to do but there are a number of groups aimed at female riders and my wife usually does at least one track day every year where the only blokes are instructors plus goes to things like speedway meetings, BSB races or whatever else they're organising that she fancies doing when I'm away doing other things.

thank you for the encouragement, tell the missus it is a beautiful bike, wow. I looked at the curvy riders but they are up north so can't just pop in, but I will try and make some time to call in there one day. I am loving the warm welcome into the biking community I must say.
