Welcome aboard boyband. Added to list in Post 1 (thumbs)
Heff I'm unfortunatley off to the States with work on Monday morning and not back until Friday. Will try and make it up on Saturday depending if I get any sleep! Enjoy lads!
Currently an F650GS, DR350 and RV125 in the family stable.
I am booked for fast Irish Ferries Swift vessel tomorrow, but it's in doubt now because of weather.
If cancelled, The options will be Epsilon or Ulysess at different times, which is a real pain.
If necessary, has anyone any views whether I should wait for Ulysess, which is a bigger ship, or is the Epsilon ok if sea is a bit rough? I'm not a brilliant sailor, and I'm not looking forward to a really rough crossing!
Hello Steve, I think the Epsilon was in the press recently re alot of destruction to vehicles in a very bad storm. So, based on what you have said, the larger of the two ships might be the way to go.
In any event I hope you have a smooth crossing & see you soon.
Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel prior to the off-there is a fuel station in Draperstown
We will adopt the drop-off method, used on the last two rallys and seems to work. If not sure how this works just ask.
Breakfast is a full cooked affair and will be £6 per head-if you could have the exact amount, that would make it easier when it comes to payment. We will be stopping about 9.45 in Gortin village to partake.
Lough Navar Forest. This is usually free entry, however I have just found out that this weekend is both a bank holiday weekend here and across the border in the south, so the Forest Service might put someone on the entrance. Last time i checked it was £2.50 for a motorbike, so again, it might be useful to have some change at hand.
We will stop at the border village of Belcoo in the afternoon. There is a couple of pubs that offer food, also a fast food shop which might be open, also a small supermarket. So anyone wanting another meal can get one here, we will stay here about 45 minutes. If you want you could pop over the bridge and look for some food in the village of Blacklion,(some Euros might be handy if you want to do this-but stirling will probably be accepted)the choice is yours.
As said, all being well we should be back at the Shepreds Rest 8-9pm at the latest.
Anyone else looking the breakfast, please let me know, as I need to let the owner of the restaurant know what number to expect.

Ok dmac
Thanks for the update. Hopefully catch up on Saturday if you're back in time (thumbs)
I just done the ferry crossing forecast and the ferry crossing is moderate to rough tonight but just moderate for tomorrow. I would be surprised if they cancel the swift. But I think with the northerly they may damage the ramp of the Swift in Holyhead. If they do cancel the swift tomorrow either of the ferries would be fine since the seas are just moderate.
