Thank God the Rugby is on this afternoon...

Post by SteveR »

Feeling weird, I know today.... I know, I know!

It's Saturday morning, the shooting season has finished so no working with the Dog, (She is well hacked off too!), weather has gone pants again after a dry week, so too wet to do any outside work, bike is on the bench in the workshop, waiting for some fork seals to arrive yesterday.... so can't fix it or ride it. :(

So, thank gawd I can have an afternoon watching Rugby to look forward to!! Tigers v Sale this afternoon, then to see if Eddie Jones' brave new world is better than Lancaster's screwed up selections!

Scotland will be well up for it I reckon, and it'll be interesting to see if Hartley can keep his temper stay buttoned, and not get wound up! However in Laidlaw, Scotland have one chippy little sod, perfect as a wind up merchant!!

I cant wait. No worries about Hartley, sure the boss wants him to play his normal game and take it to the opposition up front. England has been a soft touch under Robshaw and Lancaster.
Hope its not the mudfest we might have expected and Scotland play an attractive game now. Hope its a thriller!

Home for the France game then off to the pub :woohoo:

I'm English and the better half is Irish so who do I support and keep the chances of getting any sex for the next six months?

Looks like it'll be a "stick the ball up a jumper" game, or take the route Bath and Glaws did last night, and play kick tennis.... I hope not the latter.

Pub sounds a good call (thumbs)

Like you Steve no Shooting for me or the dogs now until October. I spent the afternoon in the Garage farkling the 990adv to kill time until the Rugby starts. I have to wait until tomorrow for the Wales v Ireland game but the Calcutta cup should be a great game especially given how well Scotland performed in the World Cup. Best of luck to all fans of all nations, let's hope it's a nail biter like last year, accept Wales lifting the cup of course. France narrowly beating Italy by 2 points, it could go anywhere ! (thumbs)
