Well looks like I've done just that. Contacted my local BMW dealer who have a low mileage ex demo F800GS with plenty of extras so I'll be going along to see that on Saturday. The F800 will probably suit my needs better.

Make sure you check the engine casings for flaking paint, I got rid of mine when it happened and even the new replacements did the same.

A known fault.

Round Coulson By-pass south London and the Surrey lanes, he seems to like it !.... (thumbs)

I really like this bike. It looks mint, sounds great and every review is very positive.
I'm dying to ride one but I can't even walk past a Honda dealer as I know I'll be buying one.

I'll wait another 12 months and then ride one back to back with an 1190R to see which one will be my next bike, all be it, second hand. .
