I'm still undecided between this and an F800. It'll be one or the other :whistle:

Second hand , lightly used mint gs 800 would be the better choice IMO , think of all the fuel money that you would have left to spend (thumbs)
My heart is set on the AT , and you cannot buy them second hand yet so no choice for me . :pinch:

Well looks like I've done just that. Contacted my local BMW dealer who have a low mileage ex demo F800GS with plenty of extras so I'll be going along to see that on Saturday. The F800 will probably suit my needs better.

Make sure you check the engine casings for flaking paint, I got rid of mine when it happened and even the new replacements did the same.

A known fault.

This is the first "real world" review I've seen....

I really like this bike. It looks mint, sounds great and every review is very positive.
I'm dying to ride one but I can't even walk past a Honda dealer as I know I'll be buying one.

I'll wait another 12 months and then ride one back to back with an 1190R to see which one will be my next bike, all be it, second hand. .
