One of the most exciting matches I've seen for a long while....:cheer:wait for me wrote:now that was a game of rugby -
come on the Japanians !!
On a different note, how can it possibly be called fair for Japan to have the 2nd match on Wednesday against Scotland, having their 1st match???? England on the other hand have a recovery of 7 days before their next match.... A tad smelly I reckon...??
Re: Re: RWC 2015, it's all go !!!
Everything is weighted in favour of the so called big teams. How the hell can SA get two bonus points for being humiliated by Japan yet Japan only get four after what can only be described as the biggest shock in RWC history?SteveR wrote:One of the most exciting matches I've seen for a long while....:cheer:wait for me wrote:now that was a game of rugby -

I would never had thought I would ever feel sorry for the Boks but the whole world turned against them in the second half! Superb stuff which has lit the tournament up. Gonna be a close group

I think SA would have got more support if they had played more positive rugby in the second half. Generally it is a game where the underdog gets the support of the non-partisan. The best side won I think, and a wake up call to all the top nations not to misjudge any opponent.
RWC only comes around once every 4 years - so everyone is up for taking scalps... except SA it would seem
As an aside, if anyone is overseas and struggling to access live games - you can download free VPN software to block your location, which allows you to stream games through ITV player.
Can't grumble too much about ITV I suppose, but it really pees me off that I can't get the BBC version either (I'm a UK tax and TV licence payer).
Just thought I'd mention, in case it helps anyone on the road etc.

After all the stick I received, I finally watched the highlights and what a game Japan and SA had. Has really made the pool interesting and I suspect worried Scotland. It would be great if Aus and NZ also gets a shock like that. Could make the whole World Cup interesting.

Big Al will be happy, bonus points as well
Japan looked tired I think the the scots owe SA a drink or two
As mentioned earlier the gap in Japan's big games seems a bit unfair
