Re: workshop tools and spares
Apologies for delay on getting back on this but im shifting several hundred tonnes of metal amongst other stuff!
As a taster....I have a DEAN SMITH & GRACE lathe type 1709 x40....whatever that means....im told its a real goody.....the pedestal drill is a PROGRESS No. 3A......the Myford lathe is a Super 7 or something and there is a chunky pedestal style router/grinder with no obvious ID.....there are at least 4 sets of chain pulley sets of variable size and boxes of imperial nuts, bolts, washers etc......half a dozen electric motors and gear boxes....pumps. ...and hundreds of bearings etc
PM me with an email address if you want pictures etc
cheers!

Re: workshop tools and spares
The DSG is a small lathe but it'll be very heavy for it's capacity because they're built to last (thumbs)
The downside for anyone wanting a lathe for home use will be getting it transported then moved about once you get it home. It'll also need a 3 phase supply.
The pedestal drill will again need a 3 phase supply and take a number 3 MT drill so that's probably a maximum size of about 32mm.
The Myford will probably be the one that gets most interest on here but the clincher will be whether or not it's got the screw cutting gearbox fitted.
I'll send a pm later.

Re: workshop tools and spares
Pics are some of the kit.....I also have dozens....maybe hundreds.....of cans of silicone grease....releasing fluid....penetrating oil etc plus aerosol barrier cream.....borax hand cleaner etc....there are two big buckets (10kgs?) Of some swarfega style hand cleaner......also loads of "after work" cream.
will sell at quid a can plus "my hermes" delivery which if memory serves me right is about three quid for 5kgs.....the buckets of swarfega jelly stuff will be fifteen quid.
also got drums of gear oil, compressor oil, grease cartridges (lithium)
have a large belt sander with side disc....bench top pedestal drill......inverter welder that runs off 13 amp socket, comes with a mask that auto darkens
Finally....an abundance of imperial sockets, spanners, taps and die sets etc
cheers
