workshop tools and spares

Post by HarvonAB »

Im currently emptying a factory unit that has a "proper" maintenance shop with loads of heavy duty tools, spares, bearings etc as well as lifting strops, shackles, chains, lifting gear.
There are a couple of lathes, pedestal drills, surface grinders.
Also tool boxes, micrometers, calipers, mechanical hacksaw, sand blaster, endless fire extinguishers, ladders, wall clocks, lockers etc etc
There is a copious amount of grease cartridges, oil, spray cans of various lubrication solutions
Finally there are literally dozens of electrical motors with and without gearboxes
anyone interested please drop me a pm as I will be uplifting as much as possible over the next 3 weeks and then weighing in the remainder.
its located in Bradford area but I can ship stuff anywhere at a reasonable rate
Cheers

Have responded to pm's
more info and pix next week
.......as far as unusual goes.....what are you after....there are bearing pullers.....hydraulic press.....unf/unc taps and die sets.....AF and Whitworth spanners....etc
also there are two fork lift trucks and numerous pallet trucks etc
gallons of gear oil but unusually light weight...68.....
im doing a full inventory next week......the reason for the post is "what" I put on the inventory.....ie full set of Whitworth sockets....or "scrapped mechanical tools"

Once you've done a complete inventory I might be in a position to buy any large size BSF taps you've got. If there are any taps that are BSF (55 degree) form but special pitches as in 6 or 8 tpi in large sizes we'll definitely be able to take them off your hands at a mutually acceptable price.

Post something when you've had a good look through what's there and I can probably pop over to have a chat and a look through what you've got because that kind of kit is getting rarer by the month and the company I work for are always willing to pay decent money for it. Failing that I can probably point you at someone who'll give you a very good price for everything.
