back from Morocco

Post by robson »

ok, I can now answer myself question I have posted a while ago "is Morocco safe" I didn't get the straight answer for here. It's very safe, really. Just returned from 12 days, almost 3000 kilometers long Morocco trip on my honda nc750x. We rode mostly off pavement roads there
and I have to say Morocco is the motorcyclist paradise for sure. Generally friendly people, local drivers and police makes riding in this country very nice. Definitely the most fun we had on Sahara desert near Merzouga. My new tyres, tkc 80 conti were great but on Sahara sands no tyre are good enough I guess. I have buried my rear wheel up to axle very quickly. Few pics below if you're interested.

Nice one

Not sure why you didn't get the replies you were after

Great place

We need a nice ride report and piccies now

You'll spend a few weeks getting the sand and dust from your bike now and make sure you blow clean all the switchgear with a good airline

indeed, my honda was riding along without any issues or difficulties side by side with few transalps, one yamaha XT 600, one africa twin and few bmw GSs (f800gs adventure, f700gs and f650gs). A little bit more ground clearance or skid plate would be nice though because while crossing one of many creeks there I managed to hit the big rock one time hard with the honda belly.
